You may notice a slight odor after we finish, but it typically dissipates within the first 5 hours, and after a day your bathroom will simply smell fresh and clean.

Refinishing is a construction process, so there will be some dust and materials in the work area while we work. Please be prepared to clean the rooms where we worked to remove any sanding dust that may have settled. Bathroom Surface Solutions is not responsible for post-project cleaning.

To help us work safely and efficiently, please remove all personal belongings from the bathroom before our refinisher arrives. Once you let us in, we take it from there. We simply ask that you be available to look over our work when we're done.

A refinished bathtub is often easier to clean than the original surface. All you need is a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. As with a new bathtub, abrasive cleaners can dull the finish and shine. Please note: our technicians remove the old caulk during preparation, and a technician returns to re-caulk all seams, edges, and drains once the coating has cured, at least 20 hours after application and before first use. This re-caulking visit is a standard part of our service and is included at no extra charge. For the best result, do not use the fixture until it has been caulked and fully cured.
